GARRY S. PAGASPAS, CPA, LLB

Formerly the Senior Manager and Head of the Tax Advisory Services of Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs – correspondent firm of RSM International, Garry has had professional experience in the field of taxation for about seven (7) years now. Prior to joining RSM Philippines, he worked as Assistant Tax Manager with the Tax Division of Bernaldo Directo & Po Law Offices, a sister firm of RS Bernaldo & Associates – PKF Philippines based in Makati City. He handled a number of tax and advisory engagements on tax compliance studies, tax assessments, tax structures, corporate restructurings, dealings with various government agencies and instrumentalities for business and corporate requirements and processes relating to various industries.

A graduate of Bachelor Laws, he was formerly a full-time College Instructor at Asian Development Foundation College (ADFC) for three (3) school years handling accounting and taxation subjects, formerly a part-time professor of taxation and basic accounting at the Polytechnic of the Philippines – Taguig for more than four (4) years now where he advocate on developing the entrepreneurial minds of its BS Accountancy (BSA) and commerce students, and formerly a part-time faculty member at Mapua Institute of technology – Makati Campus for two (2) years.

He was likewise formerly the Assistant Vice-President, Professional Development of Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Cavite Chapter (PICPA Cavite) for fiscal years 2015-2017, and formerly the Chair, Taxation Committee of Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice for calendar year 2016.

With his active practice of profession and former  involvement in the academe, Garry has also been a sought-after lecturer and guest speaker in various seminars and conferences about taxation and basic accounting in some seminar companies, professional organizations like PICPA and ACPAPP, and in some universities.

JOBELLE O. MENDOZA, CPA

Being the founder of Tax and Accounting Center, Inc., a seminar and accounting services provider, Jobelle has had a professional experience as a private accountant of various multinational companies, in accounting, finance and taxation for seven years from industries like but not limited to manufacturing, BPO, banking, NGO and consultancy that exposed her in financial reporting, risk management and system development.

Graduated Cum Laude with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, she is also an educator, being a part-time professor of accounting at Polytechnic University of the Philippines- Taguig Campus and San Pedro Branch and Mapua Institute of Technologies- Makati.

 

Atty. PEARL FATIMA L. EVARDONE

Atty. Pearl is a graduate of the Lyceum of the Philippines – College of law last March 2009 and had been admitted to the Philippine Bar last April 2011 after passing the September 2010 Philippine BAR examinations held at De La Salle University.  She is a practicing lawyer by profession, being a Litigation Lawyer at Trinidad Law Firm, and a Consultant to the Philippines House of Representatives – Office of Congressman Ben P. Evardone of the Lone District of Eastern Samar.

She is in the active corporate practice and is currently the Vice President and Corporate Legal Counsel of National Association of UNESCO Clubs Phils., Inc.;  and the Secretary General of Paragon Law Circle (PLC). She is likewise a Youth Ambassador for Peace of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural organization  (UNESCO), and Member of the Young Professional Network of the UN Association of the Philippines.

Despite her busy schedules, she commits to share her expertise in helping out SMEs in the legal and technical aspects of their operations, and assisting foreign investors in penetrating the Philippine market in structuring their foreign investments, in doing business in the Philippines, and in legalizing their presence in the Philippines through an appropriate Philippine Visa from the Bureau of Immigration.
